I need help to right a derogatory counseling on a soldier for leaving his room unsecure and what kind of corrective training would correct this problem. Thank you

Put them on guard duty! Make them stand guard outside their room in full battle gear for a couple of hours each day for about a week. It cured my soldiers.

Roger! Ensure that the punishment fits the "crime". I've used the same tactic and it works. If it happens again, I suggest that you lock up your soldier's belongs in a supply room. Since they aren't worried about securing their room, they should try not having their items for a few days... no more than a week.
