Overview
Army Counseling Online (ACO) holds the privacy of our customers and members in the highest regard. ACO believes that our most valuable assets are our customers and we are committed to respecting your need for privacy. Our privacy policy outlines what specific information is gathered on ACO and how that information is used. ACO is currently in the process of becoming an Online Privacy Alliance and TrustE member.

Information Collection
ACO uses your contact information to create access to products on the site and to send you program updates information. Financial information is not collected or stored by ACO. Demographic and profile data is also collected to display account information according to your preferences and to analyze which demographic to target. You can visit the public parts of ACO without revealing who you are or conveying personal information.

Information Use
User's identity is anonymous. ACO uses session logs to allow access to authorized users, but the user is anonymous. The "My Account" section of ACO is members-only, password-protected areas and of course, ACO will know the identity of those visitors. Finally, email addresses are used to send you software update information and new product releases. ACO will not sell, rent, or loan our email lists or customer data to any outside firms. ACO employees treat all member information as confidential.

Credit Card Information
ACO allows you to purchase all services using PayPal (http://www.paypal.com). PayPal, which is a participate in the Council of Better Business Bureau's BBBOnLine® Privacy Program, has made a commitment to meet the program's strict requirements regarding how they treat your information and have it verified by BBBOnLine. Further information about this program is available at http://www.bbbonline.org. The card services provider utilizes a robust firewall, proprietary secure card processing software and secure ISDN links to the existing Bank approved credit card processing infrastructure. No credit card numbers are stored in any system at ACO.

3rd Parties
It is ACO policy to never provide your information to third parties. We do not release personal information about you as an individual. The only exception to this policy is if ACO is compelled to do so by an appropriately empowered governmental authority.

Termination of Usage
The company may terminate your access, or suspend your access to all or part of ACO, without notice, for any conduct that ACO, in its sole discretion, believes is in violation of any applicable law or is harmful to the interests of another user, a third-party Provider, Sponsor, service provider, or the company.

Warranties and Limitation of Liability
Information and documents provided on this Website are provided "as is" without any warranty. ACO uses reasonable efforts to include accurate and up-to-date information on this Website; it does not, however, make any representations as to its accuracy or completeness. ACO, its suppliers, and the other parties involved in creating and delivering this Website's contents are not liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising from use of this site.
